Behind The Name / First Post!

Hey everyone, my name is Allan Boudreau-Fine and I'm a songwriter, audio engineer and producer currently based in Nashville, TN. As I've been transitioning from making music for fun to the cold hard capitalism of charging legal tender for mixes, I've realized I need a website.

For whatever reason I have an aversion to branding things with my own name, perhaps because I grew up idolizing bands from the 60s and 70s with goofy names. But either way, I decided to name my website after my of my college radio show, which was named after a white stripes song that captures a lot of the core minimal aspects that I value in recorded music. In the future, I plan on using this site as a home for not only my own songs and production discography, but also hopefully will be posting curated playlists, photography, opinion pieces, and other forms of writing.
